Street Scape Project
As can be seen by anyone visiting the District new buildings are being built at a frenzied pace, changing the look of the area for the better. In conjunction with this process, the HDSID is currently working with the City of Jersey City for a new face of Historic Downtown’s major thoroughfare: Newark Avenue. The improvements include new lighting, street furniture, sidewalks and repaving. Please check back often for updates.
